Why I Love Religion…AND JESUS || Spoken Word

Many of you have likely seen the viral video by now. A young man created it about two weeks ago and since then it has gotten around sixteen million hits. Since then, there have been other responses to the brother’s video popping up on YouTube. In fact, another blogger I follow closely actually had an email discussion with the guy and he clarified some of the things he said. Not to mention the fact that the young man demonstrated a humility and willingness to be taught that many mature Christians can learn from.

I actually emailed him and told him that I crafted a response. Not to critique him, but to ensure that young people don’t take his video to mean Religion=Church. That certainly wasn’t what he was getting at. So this video is for educational purposes only. I’ve disabled comments and ratings on the video because there is no need to rehash many of the things that have already been discussed over the past couple of weeks. So here’s a rare spoken word piece from me telling you why I love religion and the Church.
